Portland was ranked #1 Greenest City by Sustain Lane and Popular Science, both in 2008! (See the next 2 links). In 2009, it was ranked #1 greenest city by Treehugger.com.  Portland is one of the nation's top leaders in sustainable living, solar and wind power innovations, environmental stewardship, recycling, mass transit, and 'green certified' buildings.  These are among the many reasons I love living in Portland.

My passion is to create a healthy planet in which we all can take pride. 

I strive to educate myself and others about reducing our toxins, reducing our usage, respecting nature, and increasing our awareness. 

My "GREEN" link is chock full of Portland-based eco-friendly websites.  As an Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally, I have extended a link on my home page to this quickly growing organization.  As Portlanders become more aware about conservation, they are finding assistance at Energy Trust of Oregon.
